Bani YVerified Outstanding travel and tour services of White Raven Bhutan was amazing, a beautiful country and have to really thank and appreciate White Raven Tours & Travel who went out of the way to customise our travel requirements. Mr. Soraj was extremely helpful and understanding to our specific needs specially since there were medical needs also, that it just did not feel that we were meeting him for the first time. His commitment to taking care of all our needs speaks volumes of his ability and responsibility to take care of every individuals specific requirements . Would surely recommend him to all who are travelling to the beautiful and serene Bhutan aditi tVerified Highly recommend Soraj and White Raven Soraj took such good care of us - we were a mix of age groups from 12 to 70 and he ensured there were activities catering to each one. Very soft spoken yet knowledgeable- his passion for Bhutan shines through. Overall the facilities were top notch - service and hospitality extended by both Soraj and Vishal (the driver) was impeccable. When coming back to Bhutan - will engage them Tejaswi KVerified Bhutan, an exquisite experience. We travelled to Bhutan for a girls trip back in Dec 2023 , and it was absolutely amazing and Insightful. We were warmly received , greeted and taken care of by Soraj and White Raven Tours. Their hospitality will not be forgotten . Will always recommend them to anyone travelling to the land of the thunder dragon 🐉 😇😊. Seema CVerified The most beautiful and peaceful place on earth!!! My friend and me went to Bhutan in November and we had the most fantastic time!!! We flew from Australia to Delhi and then to ParoPlanning the holidayMaking the arrangements for the holiday was a piece of cake. Saroj the owner and also our guide on the tour and his wife Sonam were very helpful and quick at responding as we were planning our holiday. We were going to do the 4-day tour initially but after our conversations we decided to extend it to 7days. We are very glad we did.AccomodationGood quality, Comfortable, Value for money. Personally vetted by Saroj prior to our arrival! Can't ask for more than that!!! Reception in every hotel was warm & welcoming. Special home brewed tea to enjoy while every thing was clearly discussed & explained. 🤗FoodVaried from good to excellent. Saroj and the driver Vijay took us to some great restaurants. They knew what we liked and catered to our taste. Hotel accomodation included breakfast that was usually buffet style with a range you could choose from. The ToursOn the 7-day cultural tour we covered Paro, Thimpu, Punaka, Pobjika, ......and much much more. The museum in Thimpu was not just about gathering information but fun through participation. Dancing while shown the steps, with traditional music and singing. Tried my hand at archery, and even operated a traditional old stone hand mill.It was wonderfull to see Bhutan's contribution towards saving animal and bird species from extinction. Particularly the Takin and the black neck crane. We got to see a lot of Buddhist temples and beautiful scenery on the way. The health and playful monkeys on the way were fun to watch. Just walking though the paddy fields with the sun on my back was so peaceful. I recommend all my friends and family a holiday in Bhutan and I recommend they do it with White Raven Tours & Travel. The professionalism, care and quality of service we have experienced with them is second to none. Hemanth sVerified A Core Memory for a Chennai boy in Bhutan Our visit to Bhutan, through White Raven was in May 2024. Funny, because it seems like it was just weeks ago. That was how lasting an impression Bhutan left in me. You can get to this Land of Thunderbolt, either by a direct flight to Paro or, the way I reached, which was to fly to Bagdogra, WB and from there drive to Pheuntsholing, the border city between India and Bhutan. That is when Mr. Soraj from White Raven received us and for the next 8 days or so, we were pampered so much, that we had half a heart to exceed our spending and extend our stay. To illustrate with an example of their hospitality and their efforts just to make you feel at home, Mr. Soraj will be there in the city you are next travelling, just to receive you and to make sure everything is fine. In Bhutan, it is mandatory to have a guide. Here, our guide wasn't Mr.Soraj but Mr. Tashi who deserves a special mention. We visited Paro, Thimphu and Punakha all of which were amazing (especially the farmhouse stay at Punaka, where we were transformed into Bhutanese people for a night), but to single out one spot that will always remain in me forever is Tiger's nest. An amazing trek with breathtaking views and it takes 3 hours on an average one way.Truly mindblowing. To finish off with a personal anecdote; my parents being the lovebirds they are, so my Dad wanted to surprise my Mom on her birthday, which was not so coincidentally on the penultimate day of the trip. And let's just say, White Raven executed the surprise to perfection. The only bad thing about the trip was that it had to end. On our way home, we had close to 2000 pictures, a near empty wallet and memories to cherish for a lifetime. AshLiVerified A great holiday! Our trip to Bhutan in the summer of 2024 was truly made fantastic by Soraj la and Rajman la at White Raven Tours and Travels. They were our guide and transport person who took us around Thimphu and Paro during our stay. We couldn't have been happier with the experience. They were incredibly professional and friendly, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. From being present every day on time to getting us going on the day's itinerary to helpful suggestions of what else we could see during our stay in Bhutan, Soraj la and Rajman la were with us every step of the way. They were well versed with lay of the land as also very familiar with where we could get good vegetarian food (which was a necessity for some of us travelling on this trip). From the well-organized itinerary to enjoying the tour at our pace, everything was perfect. The personalized attention made our trip memorable and hassle-free. Great value for the services provided! White Raven Tours and Travel is highly recommended! Meera MVerified Tasteful and excellently tailored culture trip The entire trip was organised efficiently and seamlessly by Mr. Saroj, the proprietor of this entity. Booking was easy, all my queries were answered promptly and the trip was customized as per my requirement. I could enjoy this beautiful country at my own pace and I never felt rushed. Mr. Saroj has excellent knowledge about Bhutan's rich culture and history and he takes great pride in conveying the same to the uninitiated tourists. He is a great conversationalist and if you are lucky, he would lead the tour. I had a designated driver and car during the entire duration of the trip. The driving was safe and professional. The car was spacious, with heating and higher ground clearance and even had a medical emergency kit with necessary meds. All the hotels booked during my stay was high quality, with heaters and other amenities. This was more important as I travelled during January which is one of the coldest months in Bhutan. The hotels booked were comfortable, safe and had excellent breakfast and dinner options. Saroj, was proactive to check the rooms ahead of my check in to ensure everything was in order and always suggested that he could change hotels if I was not happy with the rooms/amenities. I had no complaints with the stay and was more than happy with the hotels I was put in. The people were warm, welcoming and extremely respectful. Perfect place to unwind and appreciate the nature at its best with no rush. Never felt unsafe or had any issues at all. There's so much to see, soak in and explore. I took the Bhutan Culture tour of 5 days and covered Paro, Thimphu, Punakha and Phuntsholing. My personal recommendation would be fly directly to Paro, international airport to save time. Though this was recommended to me ahead of the booking, I chose to enter Bhutan by road through Phuntsholing. The best sights I saw were part of Himalayan range from Bhutan side and a holy place of worship which had paintings from 14th century and some even older! Both felt surreal and would definitely be back to this beautiful country in a different season to explore the other regions and again with White Raven :) Would highly recommend White Raven for your trips in Bhutan.Tripadvisor rating score: 5.0 of 5, based on 7 reviews
