TRAVEL BY LAND<\/strong><\/p>

Bhutan’s land border entry points are a gateway to adventure. Phuentsholing, Gelephu, and Samdrup Jongkhar are your primary access routes, each offering a unique journey into this mystical kingdom.<\/p>

Start your adventure in Phuentsholing, a bustling town southwest, approximately 149 km from the Indian airport at Bagdogra. From here, embark on a scenic five-hour drive through lush landscapes and beautiful tea estate to reach Phuntsholing, Bhutan’s vibrant commercial hub.\u00a0<\/p>

Gelephu, nestled in south-central Bhutan, is another thrilling entry point. A 250 km journey from Thimphu takes you through Bhutan\u2019s sub-tropical lowlands, transitioning into alpine terrain.
